“与G一起前进的新道路.U.I.D.E.” aims to advance 多样性, 股本, and 包容 (D.E.I.) issues in higher education, K-12, communities, and the workplace. The daylong conference will feature notable experts speaking on topics such as ageism in the workplace, 变性人身份, 公平与包容, 处理内隐偏见, 包容的领导, 和更多的.

“Our focus on diversity, 股本, and inclusion has never been more important,” said Dr. 卡罗尔年代. Spalding, president of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. “The College has a long-standing commitment to creating a culture of inclusivity and a campus filled with students, faculty and staff who reflect the communities we serve. This event provides a space for participants to celebrate achievements, be inspired by best practices, and learn how to manage change.”

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Jane Elliott, an internationally known teacher, lecturer, and diversity trainer. Recipient of the National Mental 健康 Association Award for Excellence in 教育, her work exposes prejudice and bigotry as an irrational class system based upon arbitrary factors.
